Do you operate a Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) extraction system?

Every employer who provides any LEV extraction system to meet the regulations shall ensure:

“it is maintained in an efficient state, in efficient working order, in good repair and in a clean condition” - Regulation 9 -1 COSHH.

Our maintenance packages include:

• All works to be undertaken by fully qualified and competent experienced engineers
• Detailed site reports, including colour photographs and video (if required) of all site visits
• Provision of full documentation (if not already in place) including
  • Operating and maintenance manuals for the dust collector & equipment installed
  • Commissioning reports
  • User manuals & Log books containing all the information on the extraction system

Any maintenance program for a Local Exhaust Ventilation systems should include:

• Regular servicing
• Thorough Examination and Test (TExT) or COSHH Test in accordance with the COSHH regulations
• Regular cleaning to remove potential building of debris within the pipework system
